Doesn't matter. The Governor's luster is gone. Yesterday's news.

Uh, she did cross the border into Iraq to be present at an Alaska soldier's re-enlistment ceremony. So, she was in Iraq. What's the big deal about this anyway?

Stupid issue to bring up, too, since Obama, the PRESIDENTIAL candidate, didn't go anywhere near Iraq until he was a candidate and goaded into it by McCain! Palin went to visit the troops on her OWN, long before she was a national candidate.

No surprise, you're wrong again. Obama first visited Iraq in Jan 06. Where was Palin? On vacation in Canada or Mexico or shooting a moose? Either way I'm sure she was lying wherever she was.

Get your facts straight next time

You're missing the point. Presidential candidate Obama hadn't visited the troops in how many years and yet he wants to be Commander-in-Chief? And he wasn't planning on going, either, until McCain called him out on it. Meanwhile, a GOVERNOR with no plans for national office went on her own to visit the wounded troops, especially those from her state.

No, you are missing the point. Your Presidential candidate picked an inexperienced VP candidate who, amongst other things, knowingly lied or misled people about her trip to Iraq. Then YOU incorrectly accused Obama of never going until McCain pressured him. Using that to defend her. We are talking about Palin not Obama. Can't you stay on topic without having to bring Obama up? If you would like to contribute to the topic as to why she again knowingly misled voters, I'm listening.

Her foreign experience constitutes being able to see Russia from Alaska and she once took a trip to visit only her troops, deployed from Alaska, in Kuwait. She went a quarter of a mile into Iraq but made it seem like she went all throughtout the country visiting troops. I guess that’s to be expected since she said she cared about Alaska and wasn’t paying attention to the war. Commander of the Alaska Guard? Not. A true commander will at all times know what’s going on when it could affect your troops.
