These guys are tricky little devils. I get this call from a pollster last night. He starts off by saying "I am calling about the sanctity of marriage between a woman and a man" I said ok, he then said so, "do you believe in the sanctity of marriage?" The ? caught me off guard a little the way it was worded. If I had simply said yes then that would have meant I was agreeing that gays can't get married too. So I said if you mean only men and women are allowed to get married? and not same sex couples then my answer is no.

He then says so you don't believe in the sanctity of marriage? I said not if doesn't mean ALL people can do it.

Sanctity of marriage? So we're gonna start forbidding divorce now? Wow, imagine how many Republicans would suddenly change parties and fight for rights is divorce was banned! It's all fine and good for them to deem a sin or against God, until something that THEY feel they have rights to is challenged... Suppose the Dems need to bring up divorce rights to prove a point.

I think most people in this country hang up on them. Honestly, this is a country that hates telemarketers, and pollsters get lumped right in there with them. That's why I really don't put too much faith in polls.

We don't answer the phone either, but I was curious as to what the pollster? might be.

One called me and asked the same question as a republican he thought i was going to say yes but i believe who cares if they get married or not i dont we have more things to worry about and when people vote no against gay marriage my question is why, this does not affect you anyway it is not restricting your right or anyone else it is giving a right to a group of people.

And i got a question why do illegal aliens get to marry but are own tax paying citizens don't that needs to be changed one way or the other.

I got so tired of answering the phone and listening to people selling satellite dishes and vinyl siding that I started screening my calls. If I don't recognize the number on the ID, I let the machine get it.

I keep getting calls from the Democratic National Party on my business line. Probably wanting money. I don't even answer...

Hmm, if it actually showed "pollster" I might be tempted to answer it.
