Most men don't get outraged at the notion of male privilege (though they may not exactly feel passionate about ending it). Most wealthy people don't get outraged at the notion of class privilege. They acknowledge that it exists. But when racial privilege comes up, the reactions, for some reason, can be quite bitter.
We had a lot of threads spouting stuff like MPBsrs's back with City Data first began.
This is nothing new.
I dunno what to say. I see both sides. I've heard of affirmative action hirings which were less than successful.
However, White TV *IS* TV. But many just don't see that.
To me, this election is much bigger than what holiday is observed or what TV show is on. People who are proud of being white, pat yourselves on the back for being white. Me, I think it takes more than skin color to be a productive human being. I am voting for Obama, because he sees where we need to go, and can bring us together to accomplish it. But he has his work cut out for him.
Well, can you just add a footnote to your posts from now on stating that you are white supremacist? if you're proud of it, shout it loud! It will benefit us all in evaluating your statements.
Geez, I had the same reaction to the OP. Just can't take it, but you guys sure can dish it, right? You guys are just setting things up for when obama loses. You just can't bully people into thinking they are racists if they don't want to vote for obama - his skin color is not even a factor for many - it's his ideology and a lot of other things.

I would have no problem voting for a non-white male for President, if I believed in him.

Honey, you outed yourself as a white supremacist, so anything else you say from here on out is COMPLETELY irrelevant.
Guess we are racists because we're not voting for Obama.
