Listen to this, wow he is out of touch.

How can anyone think that McCain is good for the economy after this and when Alan Greenspan (a republican who is beloved by republicans and democrats for greatly improving our economy) said that McCains economic plan will hurt america.

I can guarantee you a lot of people tonight are crying tears in their beers.

The beer business is doing great.

Hi, Cindy! Keep counting the millions of dollars. Buying another home? Sounds pretty good.

John McCain has been a senator long enough to know the difference between a failed economy and one that is fundamentally ok. He would NOT be saying this if he was not running for President. The country is in the worst economic state since the Depression and John McCain thinks it's ok. Beggars belief. Will his followers watch as he turns water into oil?

I agree. What's happening now is what happens when the system works. When the government steps in to take over failing banks or the Federal Reserve forces banks with capital to take on a sinking ship, that's when things go wrong. The "adjustments" Bush talked about today are just starting. There are a lot more of these failures to come. It's necessary to purge the bad debt and get us back on the road to recovery. So yeah, the fundamentals are sound.

Bit like saying that new orleans was ok from Katrina because the emergency services had to be used. Well we all know what happened there. Disaster. Same thing will happen to the economy if in the hands of McCain.

I agree, McCain recognizes hard working americas and understand we can pull through tough times, mean while Obama is saying it's failed policies and making fun of people who "cling to guns"...what a idiot!!

You sure are confused.

Its Obamas tax the business policies that will put us into a depression.

And no, this economy saw worse then this during the twin Obama days of Jimmy Carter.

Funny that libs keep saying this and have no facts to back it up.

There is no one hurting where I live, new homes being built, offices going up, new jobs coming in, new cars in the driveways.

So where is the economy so bad at? Certain areas or what?

My business is growing and if this economy is so bad I would hate to see the money I could make if it was a good economy......
