"Should I be worried about being a slave, about being returned to slavery because certain things happened in the Constitution that you had to change?"

We already have a couple forms of slavery in the U.S.

1.) I work over 5 months a year just to pay State, Local and Federal taxes. Yippee! I don't feel as "free" as I should...

2.) Some volunteer for slavery in the form of eternal, multi-generational welfare. This results in a group of people with no pride, no hope, no meaningful past, and no future. They depend on the Government (which is mainly made up of rich, old white men) for their meager existence. Sound a lot like slavery to me!

she also has said this, so it might be a toss-up.

BARBARA WALTERS: It's hard for Obama now and Joe Biden to? ?

VOICE: Go after her.

GOLDBERG: No, it's not.

WALTERS: You don't think so?

GOLDBERG: No, I don't think so. Well, you know what? I have a very strange reason that I think that he? ? that particularly Obama has to be very careful. He's been very good about trying to walk the center so he doesn't scare the white people and still seems like he's black. I mean, come on.

She's worried about the constitution being changed? I bet she wouldn't mind the 2nd ammendment being changed. I still can't believe McCain would go on their and talk to that table full of dolts.

Alot of people go back to that fore father's argument never keeping in mind that there have been many changes to the fore fathers and good ones. Sisters, you were "given" the right to vote against the good wisdom of the fore fathers. Let's agree they did a pretty good job, but it needs some updates on occassion!

She was not talking about the Constitution being changed. She was making a point regarding the statement John McCain made about judges interpreting laws based on the Constitution as our founding fathers wrote it. Even John McCain said he understood her point.
