Cash-poor Obama says no to Reid - John Bresnahan - Politico.com

Quote:
Democrats on Capitol Hill have grumbled for months that it has been hard to orchestrate campaign events and appearances with the Obama campaign. One Democratic strategist said the campaign frequently turns down requests to have Obama appear with a Democratic incumbent or challenger, and that the events that do happen come only after some “very heavy lifting.”
What happened to the money machine of obama? So he's going to stiff his fellow dems and suck all the money into his campaign. Nice guy. I wonder if the dem leadership is having buyers remorse.

For the month of August Obama raised $66 million dollars something McCain can not even imagine.

He'd be stupid to start giving them money. The elections are 2 months away yet. Two very long, very expensive months given how this election is going.

you guys are so concerned about what the democrats do, please, give me a break. If I were you I would be more concerned with the trouble the republicans will find themselves in when Palin's "doodoo" hit the fan. Give it about another week you'll see what terrible choice she was...

Just think of all the fundraising obama will have to do the next 7 weeks - while McCain is free to campaign relieved of that burden.

Stumper : Obama's $66 Million Month? Impressive--But He Still Has a Lot of Work to Do
