Obama answers to you. McCain answers to lobbyists, the GOP, and the powers that be.
Unlike Ron Paul, McCain sold his soul long ago when he found out he had no shot at the white house.
That is why he 'picked' Palin over his 1st and 2nd choice Lieberman and Ridge.
That is why McCain's campaign is infiltrated with DC lobbyists.
That is why McCain is out of touch like "I hadn't Heard of That $4 Gas George Bush"
Get real! Any politician that comes out of the corrupt Daley machine has someone pulling his strings. Obama is no different.
Here is the difference. I'd trust a man who says "I don't know much about the economy" and recognizes that he'll need help in some areas, over a guy who says he knows everything about the economy, and then puts us in the current situation, or possibly even worse. What does Obama claim to know about the economy, I'm not sure, never heard him talk details, other then to say.. Bush/McCain, Bush/McCain, Bush/McCain.. get tired of hearing it without details.
No one can know everything about everything, its good to see someone not afraid to admit he's flawed in some areas and will need help.
No. You don't "trust a man who says 'I don't know much about the economy'" to run the economy of the United States. Especially an economy in a complex free-fall. Would you trust such a man to be your accountant or broker? I think not. Yet you are prepared to hand over the care of the economy of the nation to such a man. Brilliant. If, on the other hand, you would like to elect him to oversee the petty cash box at the local elementary school fund-raiser, I would not have a problem with that.

Dont you think he should have been interested enough to learn something, anything, in TWENTY-FIVE YEARS?! Why do you applaud stupidity?
Obama spent a week before he went to Iraq (or the week right after) learning from market and economics pros about Wall Street and the national and global situation, projections for the economy, what makes it run, etc. He met and talked with and learned from the people who run things up there and he learned the global lay of the land.
What has McCain done in that regard? Oh, right - nothing. Nothing to show he's interested, nothing to show he wants to learn. And I agee with you there, why should he have to even pretend he wants to know or learn anything? He's well aware his job description is figurehead - even more pronouncedly so than GWB's.
As McCain and his handlers know and Bill Maher points out: Americans dont want "smart." They want "cowboy."

You're kidding, right? Greenspan is 82 years old! How can someone that old have anything relevant to say? He must be soooooooooo out of touch. Right, Obamaphiles?
Well for starters, he thinks the economy is doing great.
That is indication number one that he is clueless.
