Default Remember how Palin opened up Alaska's checkbook?

Remember how cool we thought it was that Palin put Alaska's government spending online so everyone could see it, and how she promised to do it on the Federal level?

Yeah. Obama already did that.

He co-sponsored the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act that created the USASPending.gov website. That website discloses loans, grants, and contracts. This year he and his co-sponsor Tom Coburn introduced legislation to include information on earmarks, bidding and other financial information.

You'd think that McCain might have mentioned that to her, though, since he was one of the four sponsors of the bill and the follow-up.

Wait, so Sen. Obama actually has accomplished something while he's been in the Senate AND he 'reached across the aisle' to do it?

Surely you jest
