Not a good week for McCain in his losing effort. Conservatives are losing as expected.

Obama has stepped up his attack and exposed McCain as a lying idiot. Media calling out McCain on his lies. Palin unsuited and out of place on the stump.

Economy in a free-fall continues and this has been a huge week of failures - all due the lousy economic philosophies of Bush and McCain and the fact that Bush (with McCain's support) wasted TRILLIONS in a failed ideological war while ignoring market forces that might negatively impact the domestic agenda (economy, jobs, gas prices, housing, crime, infrastructure, education, illegal immigration, displaced workers due to an excessive number of foreign labor on visas, and so forth). The problems rest squarely in the laps of the Conservatives. Bush was wrong. Cheney was wrong. Red states were wrong. Neocons were wrong. McCain was wrong. Blue states were RIGHT and continue to be so. Obama is right. McCain is wrong and now flip-flopping all over the damn place.

Fed steps in and makes a Democrat move, bailing out troubled firms. So much for McCain and Bush and Conservative approach of less government. Conservatives were sitting on the toilet for hours on end on Wall Street tending to their ulcers and contemplating suicide until the Fed stepped in to save them. Bet they vote for Obama many of them now. When people can't help themselves, great to have an organization that can step in and save them, help them restore their dignity, and possibly get them back on their feet. Doesn't just apply to poor people.

Palin bounce has fizzled. The customary bounce after a convention has subsided and we're back where we were before the conventions with Obama ahead and pulling away. Only difference is that Obama's VP choice of Biden was a great move for the country. McCain's pick of Palin was lunacy. Palin has no more business in the race than Winnie-The-Pooh, picked to help McCain give the illusion that he's up for some change. Not good enough.

Obama has regained the lead in the polls and is gaining momentum.

McCain in trouble in states that he counted on: FL, NV, VA, NC. Sure he'll take OH,possibly Indiana. But he will lose the entire Northeast, the rest of the Midwest, states in the West like NV, CO, NM along with CA, WA, OR, and he stands to lose one or two of the Southern states (VA, NC, maybe FL). Obama has registered MILLIONS who didn't vote in the last election. It's getting ugly for McCain folks! Obama is smarter and it's starting to show.

It's becoming evident that McCain, with all his age, wisdom, and experience, has NOT been able to gain an edge on the young Obama without desperate moves (like picking Palin). This is the extent of his strategy: make a "surge" by bringing an unexpected, unvetted, unqualified woman in as VP. The result? McCain is LOSING.

After all the hoopla, McCain is still JOINED AT THE HIP with the village idiot. His support for Bush and his policies continues to undermine McCain's credibility and it IS GETTING WORSE FOR HIM. He's looking more and more like McSame and McBush.

Debates on the horizon. Obama's strength, McCain's weakness. Biden's strength, Palin's weakness.

Finally, this bit of news. His pathetic VP pick is now referring to the administration as HER administration. Conservatives, you are in trouble.

Advantage : Obama-Biden

Palin cracked me up today. She spoke about the lack of regulation on Wall Street and how it led to the demise of our economy. Then....I sheet you nawt.... she went on to explain how they are going to fix this problem with less government and less regulation over markets. She completely condradicted herself in the same sentence.

BIG CIRCLE....

Scary stuff-if she gave this answer in a Jr College level economics class she'd get a big fat F.

Actually many Republicans would rather have Palin be the presidential candidate over McCain. Palin draws the crowds that thin out as soon as McCain takes the stage McCain is a pathetic speaker messing up his lines & appearing so wooden & confused.

Its surprising how much better McCain does during debates [can't quite understand why he can't give a good speech

Seeing Mccain debate reminds me of Will Ferrel in Old School. It's like something takes over his mind for a few minutes and he actually gives a good answer. Mostly from preparation and passion but I will give it to Mccain. He does do a pretty good job during debates.

Scary indeed. To think that there are millions of conservatives excited about this woman being a heartbeat away from the presidency. Absolute lunacy!
