Seriously how many?

And will they be for qualified reasons like the person she gave the Agriculture job to - such as he "liked cows?"

I doubt there has ever been institutional cronyism like there has been under Bush, but McCain/Palin will, no doubt, continue this Republican tradition

One can expect some of this, but at least let it be for relevant people not friends who have no basis at all for being in such positions like her high school friends.

So when there was a vacancy at the state Agriculture Department, she appointed a high school classmate, Franci Havemeister, to the $95,000-a-year directorship. A former real estate agent, Ms. Havemeister cited her childhood love of cows as a qualification for running the roughly $2 million agency.
Actually it was "loved cows" and it was as a kid.

Probably many. That's how her and her type work - jobs are handed out based on loyalty (sucking up) and education/experience plays no part in the decision. (See current administration)

And that is why Obama hired all his criminal friends to run his campaign?

Ok.

Is that why Michelle got a 200k raise only after Barack earmarked pork ( 1 million to be exact ) to the non profit hospital she was working at?

Guess it is all in who you know.

Maybe this is why it is difficult to get a job nowadays unless you know someone inside. Good credentials or experience don't cut it, and the person who someone knows usually gets the job. You can't even know about an opening sometimes, unless you know someone.

Perhaps this cronyism has seeped down into everyday life.
