What would you guys say to a co-worker if he or she told you. " we should all vote for obama because its the black mans turn to rule America'? He ( a black co-worker of mine ) said its only right obama wins because the white man always ran America.
Why would you reply? I don't reply when most folks say something stupid? Do you feel compelled to get into ridiculous arguments or do you go on with and enjoy your life in a logical and intelligent way? Do you respond to every ridiculous post in here or do you exercise selective judgement and not let people get you going or do you enjoy seeing people going after each other and would respond to them hoping others would join in?
Just curious about human nature.
Tell him when he finds one that is qualified then we can talk.
So the NBA should remove all blacks from the court because its whites turn to rake in multi millions of dollars for playing basketball and that is unfair because whites are not given the equal chance?
So its the white turn to take over the NBA then? Since 8 out of 10 NBA are black, its time to take turns.

Why let that upset you, many Blacks are proud to see a African American come so close to wining a presidential election. America has changed and there are many ethnicities that represent the makeup of America now. I come from an Island where whites represent the minority in our government and yes it's in the USA. America does not belong to the white man it belongs to all American citizens regardless of their race. Would you feel the same way if your co-worker told you to vote for McCain because he is white and Whites should rule America? I use to vote Republican but after I saw how much racism Obama is facing I have decided to take a stand against white racism and vote for Obama!!

That's a good reason to vote for someone....no wonder this country is in the shape some people think it is.

I think I'll vote for McCain just because of the ageism he is facing form the youth of this country!!!!!!! Nothing else matters, now does it?

Pure ignorance has been stated by your co-worker. I doubt I would respond as the statement is just too stupid. If I felt really stupid and irritated that day, I might say, "The white man founded America and he should be able to run it too."

How about a simple, "My man, (a great Denzel Washington opening) I understand where you are coming from, but don't you think that it is more important that who ever wins is the most qualified for the job?" and then, "If you think that Obama is the most qualified, then convince me that he can lead this country."
That should chill the discussion down to so that you both can have an honest debate about the campaign, you both might learn something from it.
(why do I suspect that there was something said before this outburst by our co-worker, surely he didn't just walk in the door and start making his pronouncement, did he?)
