Look she has been on the national stage for what? A month. And look how many of the early rumors have been dismissed. (This with only 2 interviews, and giving one speech over and over.)
But after being vetting for 2 years 18% of the US still thinks Obama is Muslin in hiding.
But most of the thing that people use to besmirch his reputation are 1/2 truths or full lies.

Yeah the "Palin Garbage fest" is dieing in a month from her being relative no one on the nation stage.
But the "Obama Garbage Fest" is still going a couple of years after it started.
Of course racism will cost him the election, if he loses. ALL of the southern states are voting for McCain. And look at the lunatics on this forum, scrambling like mad to post--frenetically, one after the other--information from primarily nutjob blogs and reactionary right-wing sites that assert all manner of idiocies (Obama's "marxism," Obama's "socialism," Obama's supposed deep friendship with American-hating, democracy-hating far-left radicals, etc.). This precisely the fear-baiting Rove-engineered strategy that won Bush the election, twice. So it is of course no surprise that the Rove drones are at it again, feverishly attempting to lie their man's way into the White House. And many of them are racist, as well. Just look at their wording: you can almost hear their fanatical cackling as they use their keyboard to gun down that uppity black man who has the gall to think he will ever live in their precious Lily-White House.
The 2 years thing disgust me anyways but that's another thread. That's the reason we aren't talking issues anymore.....2 year running for president is way to long.

He has lack of judgment, not much experience other than 143 business days being a Senator .....writing 2 memoires and having many many friends who are either a criminal, terrorist, taking home 90 million in 6 yeras as a CEO for one of the sinking Mortgage giants and now being his economy advisor....wow what kind of advise will that be!
His major experience is voting : present!!!
Obama is a left-wing extremist. Until the Democratic Party understands Americans want centrist candidates (like McCain), they will continue to lose the Presidency.
It has nothing to do with color/race. That is just a way to guilty people into voting for Obama - one of these "I will vote for Obama so I can show Americans are not racists" kind of a think.
Obama will lose for lack of experience, lying about his real positions after the Primary, and extremist views which make Stalin, Mussolini, Saul Alinsky, Mao, and Fidel Castro look like "reasonable people". That is why Obama will lose.
