Default Obama stole Palin's Main Street/Wall Street comment

Just saw a clip of him saying "The American people need to know the government is as concerned about what is going on on Main Street as we are about what's going on on Wall Street." Not a direct quote, but a close paraphrase.

HE STOLE THAT LINE DIRECTLY FROM SARAH PALIN! I think it was in her interview with Sean Hannity that she said that.

The McCain campaign stole an entire theme from Obama's campaign.

Wall Street v. Main Street is old political rhetoric: it's not original to Sarah Palin. The woman doesn't have an original thought in her brain.

Is this a serious post? Do you really believe Palin was the first to use Main St/Wall St?

Sorry....it's the other way around.

Palin hasn't had an original thought since the Eskimos crossed the Bering Strait.............

Wall Street - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Quote:
As a figure of speech contrasted to "Main Street," the term "Wall Street" can refer to big business interests against those of small business and the working or middle class. It is sometimes used more specifically to refer to research analysts, shareholders, and financial institutions such as investment banks. The idea of "Main Street" conjures up images of locally owned businesses and banks. While the phrase "Wall Street" is commonly used interchangeably with the phrase "Corporate America", it is also sometimes used in contrast to distinguish between the interests, culture, and lifestyles of investment banks and those of Fortune 500 industrial or service corporations.
