Obama's Advisors say "..."

I'll tell you what Obama said. He said, "We can still do both, Johnny. Don't fly back to Washington! Just vote 'Present'."

Yeah, like they can't find a stage somewhere in DC. No excuse! Except that McCain needs DAYS to prep for the debate.

Saw this on another site and I agree wholeheartedly:
The wheel of Democracy does not stop spinning. NO war, no financial crisis, nothing has ever stopped elections from moving forward. And in order for them to move forward, there must be a robust and public debate on the critical issues we are facing. This is no time to hide in backrooms, this is time for every American to see us in their living rooms.

He will need more than prep time - he'll need to be radio-controlled by a team of quick thinking and articulate advisers. Unless Obama is sick and completely off his own game, McCain really won't be able to do well in a debate against him.

ok McCain is beyond pathetic, this is so transparent, and he doesn't KNOW anything so him suspending his stupid campaign to go sit in his office and read documents is beyond ridiculous.

If this were Senator Obama making this gesture, someone here (wonder who?) would have already started a thread claiming the Democrats and Senator Obama were weak, spineless and in a state of wholesale PANIC!

If elected, maybe he'll suspend the war to focus on the economy.
That would be wonderful, but highly doubtful. He'd probably forget about the economy.

Yeah, but I bet whoever wrote that never had to debate Obama - that's pretty scary!!!
