Exactly, he needs this to talk about something.

Paraphrasing something someone said earlier, and seeking answers.
If this clown can't even multi-task congressional duties and a 2 hour debate, how can he handle the economy and the war at the same time?
Anyone?

Interesting. If the economy is so good, as he claimed, why is he suspending his campaign to solely focus on it?

Double talk express...next stop Washington.

It is already Wednesday. If this was so important, why wasn't McCain back in DC on Monday?
Because he's afraid of the Economy. His attempt to fool the taxpayers into believing he's up to the job is ridiculous. He should be calling on Congress to slow down and get it right, not rushing to make sure his "friends" are taken care of. Who does he think he's fooling with the line about CEO's should get no more than the HIGHEST paid government official? Well how much is that - Exactly.

"We must meet as Americans, not as Democrats and Republicans..."

paraphrased there.

So what's your deal? Too good for that? McCain just took ahold of Ohio and edged closer to Obama in this race.

I don't care what y'all say, this is one very tight race. If you want to use this as an opportunity to bash McCain, go ahead. I say shame on you folks.

So what you're saying is that the Obama Camp will use this crisis as an opportunity to give its October Surprise early, then that's just perfect. That selfishly motivated plan will backfire for sure. Checkmate back at you.

at least he is objectively taking a stand.

its embarrassing to consider you people americans
No, I would still consider it grand-standing. These people are running for president. Do they think that there is no multi-tasking involved in this job?
All three senators involved in this race should have been back in DC before the hearings began. No one gets a pass on this.

From CNN.COM
Quote:
McCain's announcement came just hours before President Bush was scheduled to address the nation on the troubled state of the U.S. financial system -- a problem for which his administration has proposed a $700 billion bailout.
This is orchestrated. It's a political move, not a leadership one.
