(Note: The front page of the Huffington Post tonight is HYSTERICAL about all this.)

Goes to show that Obama only has a one track mind, and thats getting in office.
|
Obama is prepared for the debates and he's been talking with financial professionals about the crisis all this time. He's squared away. McCain and Palin are not. So who's ready to be in office?

McCain knows we don't have time to wait until the election to worry about the economy.
|
Is that why no one saw "hide nor hair of McCain," to quote Chuck Schumer, all through the entire crisis? And how long does a debate take, anyway? He could fly out, do the debate, and get back to crime fighting in no time flat.

I respect McCain for being more worried about the people than his chance for office at this time of America's need.
|
Since the problem is likely solved already, by people who were actually there and not off in New York taping the Katie Couric show, Im sure he'll congratulate everyone for helping him and go buy a new suit for the debates.

They can't make good choices as to what their plans are if they are to busy running for the election, like Obama.
On another note, ''seen on C-SPAN''. They were talking about if they should pay the blacks back for slavery.Seems some say the blacks were prommissed 40 acres and a mule that the blacks never received. If they settle on money to offer up to them, who do folks think will pay for that? I'm not so certain Obama would turn that one down if asked to sign it.
Hows Obama expect to solve global poverty when American poverty should be first concern?
I'm not so certain he'd turn down signing away our gun rights either.
It has nothing to do with his skin, if I felt he was the right man for the job. Sure, I may have to pay for America's troubles, but I will not pay a penny to solve the worlds poverty when we have our own in America. To me, our country should come first, not pay for world poverty.
Silly rabbit,,tricks are for kids...... He may win, and we may have to watch the show...but I doubt we'll see him pull a real rabbit out his hind side.

And I'm not saying that McCain can solve our problems either. This is a bad election either way ''some'' folks look at it. All we can do is vote for the least worst for the job, there is no best this time, only least worst.

I think Biden and Palin should debate on Friday! I mean, isn't she supposed to be ready to step into his place? So if she can't take his place in a debate, how can she handle a crisis?
|
I really think that's true. If they want her to appear strong, she should be able to jump in. A good team can be putting out multiple fires at once. This attached at the hip thing is getting old. They need to just put her out there and give her a chance to prove herself...or to fail miserably .

I agree-- I would have no problem with the VP debates taking place on Friday.

Actually, I was listening to talk radio this morning and Republicans were calling in saying exactly that: Let Sarah debate Obama. But that won't happen. He's the presidential nominee and she is the VP. Doesn't work that way.

Um...
(she would debate Joseph Biden, her Democratic counterpart)
