NOOOOOOO, the debate was always going to happen - the debate was not canceled McCain just threatened to not show up. And it didn't have anything to do with finance - it had everything to do with grandstanding. That's why he has changed his course and is going to attend the debate enough though nothing has been resolved with respect to the economy.

Try again...

The ONLY reason that the debate wasn't cancelled was because Obama refused to be blackmailed by McCain. McCain even wanted a new debate to be held on the same night as the VP debate. Obama was the only reason that this debate was not cancelled..Fact!

It does take two to debate unless Obama is mental(I wouldn't put it past him). Offer proof please....your opinion is not fact unless of course you hold a PhD and are one of the leading experts in politics and have inside information to McCain's camp and not just your own BS.

Nice try

Offer proof please.....McCain was willing to let Obama filibuster in a room in Mississippi by himself. The debate committee told McCain they could not change it....it was their call not Obama's....the committee spends the money and the committee can change the date or cancel....Obama & McCain had no power in this.
