We know that the blue team will say McCain and the red team will Obama. In fact, I'll bet some of you already have your posts written and are waiting to push the button on it.

If you haven't, I would bet that the DU has templates you just have to cut and paste.

What's a 'DU'?

BTW, I think you meant red team for McCain and blue team for Obama.

I think we should switch the colors. Dems should be red, Reps should be blue.

Or alternate each election cycle.

What we have now is both arbitrary and suspiciously racial-sounding.
