The CBS news just announced that the alternate bail out plan proposed by Senator McCain was one the included fewer regulations and a larger tax break for corporations. He made this proposal in his meeting with the president and it has led to outrage on the part of those who have been working on a more fair plan. Good grief, nothing will stop the great de-regulators. Then he gets on the tv and talks about mainstreet when NOTHING in his alternate plan had ANYTHING for mainstreet in it.

You know what, I personally volunteer to drive a truck up to the houses of these crooks and start loading up everything in their houses for sale on ebay. Hey, if ebay is good enough for Palin then why not use it to recoup some of our money?

This whole maneuver smells. Apparently John McCain went to Washington to do the exact opposite of what he said he was going to do! The deal was nearly done. Then McCain steps in in the 11th hour and puts on the brakes. WTF? This is leadership? This is bipartisanship?

He participated in none of the negotiations. Didn't talk in the one meeting he was involved in, then proposes less regulation and more corporate tax breaks?

Did you see the photo op with the President? There was only one person in the room who was smiling: John McCain. Does he think this is funny? Does he think this is a joke?

Wrong again.

The deal was not even close at all. And a real leader steps in when something is wrong, like he just did.
McCain knew this was wrong and knew 75% of us were against this pork.
McCain just showed us the real leader he is by standing up against this.

Nice try, but you are dead wrong.

Really? Then why did he not say anything in the meeting until the end and then he said nothing of substance - which has been reported from numerous sources.

A real leader for scarecrows maybe.
