I've read the CNN article in its entirety, and the Mayo Clinic's conclusions contradict the facts presented.

Initially, the Mayo Clinic asserts McCain's EXCELLENT HEALTH, but then they proceed to talk about McCain's long list of health problems. The list of health problems is long.

I highly suspect that there's more going on than meets the eye. I think the following set of conditions may be in the equation:


1. Some of his doctors are friends of the family.

2. Some of his doctors are Republicans.

3. The Mayo Clinic knows their patient is a very powerful politician. To issue a negative health statement that would displease McCain, may be costly in the way of money flowing their way. The funds for X, Y, Z research at the Mayo Clinic may suddenly not be there. We all know how Washington works. Or, rather doesn't work. "I will scratch your back and you can scratch my back."

This article is just a contradiction in terms. When you add two and two you don't get ten, or for that matter numerous health problems doesn't equate to excellent health.

McCain has problems while walking. As far as I know, he can't lift his arms very high.

If McCain is the picture of excellent health, then I'll be living to the age of 135. Maybe 150.

What? First off, I am a registered Independent, not a Democrat... NPA.

The only reason I referenced his mother, was that SOME MORON said he had sickle cell anemia, and I pointed out that genetics were in his favor...

Second, I think everyone is aware that Mr. Obama's mother was a white woman from Kansas.
