While McCain Was Dithering...
Washington Mutal was seized by the FDIC, the largest bank failure in US history.
Hope you fiddlers like the fires.

What was left was purchased. That happened after the feds had sold off everything they could. Yes, I am royally peeved with McCain and the Reps right now. Not because they didn't agree but because of this talk of a new plan. They should have introduced that days ago but no, its all about grandstanding.

When you do bad business you deserve to get shut down.
So it is now McCains fault for this happening.
Ok then, if the deal is reached tomorrow and everyone is happy with it, you owe McCain the credit for it all then.
WAMU is another scam bank who needed to be shut down.
We cannot bail out the criminal people. Let them all get bought up by the honest banks.
Next thing you spend and steal liberals will want to bail out Waffle House where Obama eats all the time.

SSDD from you.
I don't care who deserves to be shut down, who doesn't deserve to be shut down and who deserves to have a meal with God tomorrow. I just do not. We're past that point. Now is the time to do something.
And I will not give McCain any credit if a plan gets worked out. He has nothing to do with those plans or committees and his riding into Washington like a freaking big shot put a halt to what would have been a done deal. It's all about politics. That he did this when he still hasn't has the cojones to man up and pick a freaking side disgusts me.
This fiscally conservative old school Republican who wants nothing to do with this faux Rep party has enough sense to know when its time to step up and act.

You cannot blame him on one side and not give him credit on the other.

Bush tactics. Peachy. You can hang with him if the Dems ever man up and try the man.
At least Obama did not take a campaign advisor into the meeting with him.
