Also, I made a mistake above. I answered to a question that you had asked to another person.

I already said 2x that she was horrible.

Yet I will still choose the GOP ticket over Obama-Biden.

Again (for the 3x) if these four are the best we've got then America has a larger problem than the financial crises...

Ok, you have no examples of how Couric's personal politics biased her interview of Palin.

Your opinion is not fact but you are certainly entitled to it.

And you deny that these four (Obama/Biden/McCain/Palin) are the best we have out of 300M people?
Are you thrilled with your choices?

Please respond. IMHO that is the bigger crises, not whether Couric was not as orgasmic interviewing Palin as Clinton.

Then let's argue that.
If these four are best best we have then, IMHO, we are doomed.

The American Revolution was sparked under MUCH less oppression and taxation than we currently enjoy.
How can we fix this?

I am an owner of two small businesses.
If Obama gets elected and his plan gets through I will shut down before I pay 50+% in taxes.
The American Revolution was sparked over much less of a tax - when will Americans wake up?

I think it is sad when people vote SOLELY on one issue that benefits the individual the most....like taxes or abortion. Aren't we supposed to pick who is best for our COUNTRY? That to me is real patriotism.

For someone to tell me McCain/Palin fits the bill....wow...I seriously think that person needs his/her head examined.

I'm a ER health care provider. The number of uninsured is astounding to me. People can't go to a clinic for preventative care because they can't afford it. They can't go to a clinic for sore throats, joint pain, etc because they can't afford it. Clinics can refuse to see you if you don't pay. When you go to an ER, you have to be seen regardless of the presenting problem. Got a cold? Well, be prepared to wait because the higher priority patients get seen first, regardless if you were there two hours before the chest pain or laceration or trauma patient. That's not the best health care, I agree. The best health care comes from a primary care provider who knows you, who you see routinely. No insurance? Sorry. Those are the rules made by the higher ups. I just manage the trenches.

There's more to government than taxes. Let's admit that the war started because of 'weapons of mass destruction' that were NEVER there was a mistake. Let's get our sons home from Iraq and spend those billion dollars on health care, lowering taxes, educating our children, taking care of small businessmen like you. Another, multimillionaire in office who has to grease the palms of his cronies is not what I look forward to, again!!

Yeah go ahead and talk lasciviously about Couric and Clinton. I'm more interested in what the candidates have to say. Palin the Puppet on the ticket? McCain lost my vote the first time I heard her speak 'off the cuff'.

Agree.

First of all know that I pay more than my mortgage to educate my children in a private school. It is worth every penny. I do not ask you to educate my children, and do not wish to educate yours. Honestly if we had a thrify working class in this country maybe we would not be such wealth exporters to communist China for cheap products at Wal-Mart - food for thought.

I have ex-pat relatives in London and Munich that will not consider moving back here until we have universal healthcare. They both claim stellar systems in their respective countries. I would love to have a similar system here, BUT, they do not have 3 generations of Johnson's Great Society living off the government. We have a dependent class like no country in Europe. Socialism only works when hard work of all citizens is expected and happens.

Thoughts?

I pass the local projects every day where residents have 22" rims and bass pumping car sound systems, but obviously cannot afford better, private, housing...

Obviously rims and stereos are necessities...
