I saw Hillary Clinton on TV the other day for the first time in a few weeks and I had forgotten how impressive she is. I think Obama is OK and John McCain has some good points also, but Hillary still would have been the best choice.

Now that the process has moved forward, the Conventions are done and the dust has settled, how do you feel about Hillary Clinton for President?

I am standing strongly behind Obama but honestly I think a Clinton/Obama ticket would have been unstoppable. I really love Hillary.

I would never support Hillary Clinton. She would drive me to a third party candidate for sure.

My husband and I were discussing this yesterday and are firmly on opposite sides. I said I though Obama has a better chance at winning than Hillary would have. My main reasoning, Bill is too much of a loose cannon these days and would have sunk her. DH, just rolled his eyes and agreed to disagree.

Just curious as to why?

Their policies are almost identical....or were I guess I should say.

I think Hillary looks fine ... in the U.S. Senate. I understand she is an effective Senator for her state, and she could develop into a solid leader in the Senate.

I would have been fine with either of them, but I think Obama was the better choice.

Hillary = another Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, Kerry

Comes across as unlikeable, she would drive independents away, and Democratic liberal base would have been unenthusiastic.

Hillary would have been a disaster.

I think Hillary is much more presidential than Obama. I'm a Republican and I was going to vote McCain either way, but if McCain lost I'd much rather have Hillary for president than Obama. And she can put together on a whole sentence on a consistent basis.
