actually this is where you are wrong. McCain supports the bail out. He just wants some credit for it.

The headline dosen't match the story. Nowhere in it does Huckabee ever call McCain's wanting to cancel the debate a "ploy". That's the Associated Press for you.

You would not give a hoot about what Bill Clinton was saying, unless he was supporting your candidate, lets be honest here. You are "starting to like him" because he said nice things about McCain. It's very simple to see what you've posted about him BEFORE he started saying nice things about McCain, with a simple forum search. Lets not be a hypocrite.

Actually, you are wrong. But I don't have to explain myself to you. Bill Clinton lately has been sounding very REASONABLE and like he has a lot more sense than that Democratic nominee who can't even form a sentence. I have been listening a lot lately to what Bill says and he's actually makes sense. And YES, I like that he obviously is pulling for McCain, but that's not all of it.
Go ahead and search what I said about Clinton before. Probably not too much of anything.
Don't get yourself all worked up. You might have a stroke!

I still wish the Governor were in this race. ~sigh

Huckster is right on the money! how many of us in our daily lives have unexpected things that happen to us where we have to shift some of our responsibilities and deal with multiple issues? imo, if mccain felt so strongly about going to washington, he should have asked sarah palin if she would trade her debate time with joe biden with his. that would have shown the american public that his VP selection is capable of showing up at a moment's notice and assume his responsibilities, helping to dispel the notion that palin is incompetent.

Obama, the real phony, was too chicken to have 14 townhall neetings with McCain. Obama, who would have been without teleprompters would have shown the Nation what a fool he (Obama) is. Now, he tries to put McCain down over one debate.
Hell, Obama evens thinks that there are 58 states.

yeah, one debate, in the works for over a year, millions of dollars in production, and Obama's the bad guy for trying to go through with it. sure.

I agree. It would have been an incredible show of faith in his VP and would have shifted the POLITICAL focus to the person who would stand in his stead if he were unable to perform the duties of President. He should have suspended his daily duties, and positioned Governor Palin in his stead. It would have been largely useless but not perceived this way. This would have appeared as a Presidential move, selfless, and less of a political ploy. Genius in this case would have been appropriate, pandering politicization is what we have now.

Has anyone told Joe Biden that the Great Drepression happened on Herbert Hoover's watch, not FDR's, and in 1929 there was no television. Biden has that "puts mouth in motion before putting brain in gear" syndrome. And he has been a Senator for 26 years. No wonder our country is so plucked up.
Both Biden and Obama were wrong on the "surge". Thank God cooler heads pervailed.
