Default Rasmussen: Obama 50% ~ McCain 45%

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Barack Obama attracting 50% of the vote while John McCain earns 45%. This is Obama's biggest lead since his convention bounce peaked with a six-point advantage.

looks like McCain's posturing during the bail out crisis is backfiring. I noticed a spike in Obama's numbers at the same time McCain said he was going to suspend his campaign. McCain is looking pretty desperate these days. Its turning people off too. McCain's problem is that he is not looking presidential and he is running around panicked. People dont want to see their president in a panic, they want to know that he has everything under control. Also Palin's disasterous interview with Katie Couric is having an effect. I mean what the hell? she doesnt know John McCain's regulation record? You are suppose to know your partner's track record.

He's done nothing useful since "suspending" his campaign.

He went to the same meetings Obama did. He did not lead. He did not speak much. And only gave a vague idea of where he stood on the issue to the others in the room.

The man is acting strange and he does not look well.

What makes it bad for him is that he was wanting to do something as drastic as suspending the debate. He definately went overboard and his wild actions are scaring alot of people.

AOL poll is an online poll for crying out loud. Btw, these polls call more than a 100 people.

You can vote multiple times on the AOL poll. Children and people outside the US can vote on the AOL poll. It's a web based poll. Rasmussen polls around 3k people weekly.

They poll 3,000 people. It's right there in the article, did you bother opening it? Online polls are flawed for the simple fact that they are not controlled, and very easily manipulated.

You are not going to believe in Rasmussen or Gallup's polling methodology?

The Ohio and Florida polls are polled strictly in Ohio and Florida.

The daily poll is from all over the country.
