I guarantee he would have been able to come up with at least one.

Come on, she's clearly mentally challenged. Let the lady drop out and go back to Alaska where we can all forget about her. She can keep watch for when "Putin rears his head"

If Katie had asked me that question, I would have said - HEY - ask him! HIS RECORD, not mine!

I thought Katie had dropped to a new low by even asking Palin that question. That is like asking Biden to give a summary of all the bills that Obama voted "present" on while in the Illinois Legislature.
Palin stated that McCain was a maverick. Katie was only following up on that thought. Palin shouldn't be describing McCain as a maverick if she is unable to back it up. Very fair question by Katie.

So she should know nothing about the man she is running with as he knows nothing about her? Again....perfect example of why voting should be an earned privilege and not a given right.

Default Has Sarah Palin found examples for Katie Couric yet?

She's busy collecting 'em so she can bring 'em to ya.

Disagree. It was not a fair question. Find me a clip on youtube and I will explain why. It was an ambush question about SOMEONE ELSE"S RECORD. Palin is not archivist for McCain. McCain should defend his own record.

And regardless of whether or not anyone agrees that it was a fair or unfair question, Palin should have answered "GO ASK McCain!!!!"

Umm...ani, surrogates have been on this hotseat the entire election cycle. Once Senator Obama's supporter got slammed the Press has made it a special project to pop these types of questions to anyone and everyone who claims to have any allegiance to a respective Party. If the selected VP Candidate doesn't have a firm grasp on where Senator McCain stands on the issues and his record how can they possibly present a uniform message to the constituents on the issues. They don't have to agree, buy good gracious they should know what they don't agree with and the record to boot.

I agree with you to a point, but she should have been able to come with something other than "I'll get back to you". Something. Anything! You would think her handlers would have gotten to the "McCain 101" handbook by now.

And yes, Biden probably can't give you a summary of ALL the bills voted on by Obama, but I bet he can at least give you a few "examples".

Sooooooooooo, it's Couric's fault for not asking the right questions? That's why Palin rambled, incoherently spewing talking points out of context?

Okay, it all makes sense now.

Wow.
