The Democrat bill includes a provision that twenty percent of the money that should go to retire the 'crisis debt' that will be created to solve this problem winds up in a housing organization called ACORN.

I see it that McCain was aware of the bill the Congressional leadership was trying to push through with Republican endorsement included the ACORN provision and maybe other as yet undisclosed provisions. The only thing McCain did was stop the Republican endorsement. Bush is gonna sign whatever Paulson brings to him.

Now, Congress, being Democratic controlled in both Houses, could, yesterday, today, tonite or anytime, at its will, pass the necessary legislation to call the 'crisis' as solved. Republican cooperation is not required.

Why has Congress not completed that act? McCain didn't stop anything the Democrats couldn't have done with or without him or Obama. What McCain did was stop the Republican endorsement of the bill that would have included that ACORN provision.

Question: What has ACORN got to do with solving this financial crisis? Other than being a pet project of the Democrat side of Congress?

I am glad that ACORN is being watched, several of it's leaders are already under arrest, if you can not see how dirty Obama's hands are, sadly, I am not surprised.

I was surprised McCain didn't bring this up last night particularly when Obama was talking about what to do with the profits.. Obama was vulnerable on this.
