Yep, I brought this up a few days ago after Lindsey Graham told reporters about it on TV. These sleazy Dems are trying to throw OUR MONEY to ACORN as part of the deal -- an organization that is rife with fraud and embezzlement convictions. What is wrong with them?

It's still in there!!! The Dems are insisting this go through with the earmark for ACORN, and aren't budging. WTF!?!?!?!?!
Ha! Just tried visiting the ACORN site to write them a nice little e-mail, it keeps timing out, people must be furious with them and sending them tons of hate mail....ahahahaha!

Where is Obama on this??
IN BED, THAT IS WHERE!!!
He has his finger prints all over it!!
And people want this hack as president
Finally, though it is coming front and center, MSNBC and CNN will be forced to report it.
Obama minions are too far gone, they will vote for him no matter what, but the rest of the tax payers when they get a whif of this crap will be getting out the pitch forks!

Yes, it's true that the ACORN earmark still in there. It was also reported (TV) that either ACORN stays or there is no deal. Well, I say NO DEAL.
Here in Michigan there is widespread voter fraud at the hands of ACORN. It leads me to wonder what is going on in other "toss up states" that we haven't yet heard about.
Quote:
"There appears to be a sizeable number of duplicate and fraudulent applications," said Kelly Chesney, spokeswoman for the Michigan Secretary of State's Office. "And it appears to be widespread."
Chesney said her office has had discussions with ACORN officials after local clerks reported the questionable applications to the state. Chesney said some of the applications are duplicates and some appear to be names that have been made up. The Secretary of State's Office has turned over several of the applications to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Agree. Not a single source is from a reliable newspaper or television network. One poster here said there are thousand of links. There are thousands of links to porn and sites that claim you can grow larger breasts and male genitalia, but how legit are they?
Maybe someone should talk about all the earmarks requested by Gov Palin like the one to study the mating habits of crabs. As mayor she even hired a lobbyist to secure millions for a tiny town of 7,000. I was surprised Obama didn't respond to McCain with these facts, but perhaps he'll leave that up to Biden on Thursday. Obama was way to much of a gentleman last evening.
If someone wants to go back and read my posts, you'll see I'm very fair and open to the truth. However, I googled words like acord, fraud, earmark, etc., and I can't find any news sources except for right wing blogs.
I believe the attitude of the many anti-Obama people is a reflection of their candidate's demeanor. McCain was arrogant, rude and often misquoted facts and figures. This is not the way people should discuss crucial issues. Our country is in trouble and we need to come together and be civil.

There have been at least THREE threads on corrupt ACORN in the past week or so. I personally linked to articles from the Detroit Free-Press, the New York Times, and others. So, nice try -- the libs' "where are the sources" ploy worked at the beginning of the week but it's become really stupid now.
