Their poll on TV with 100K texts showed it to be 86%-McCain, 14%-Obama.

Most pundits have declared it a tie. that's the consensus. And who cares who won? George Bush lost every debate to John Kerry in '04, and he still won the election easily.

I fell asleep of boredom. Both lost. Thought the moderator won the debate actually.

that shows how ignorant people are. people can't see why the debates are important and just vote for a guy that he/she can have a beer with.

Actually Bush had to steal votes in Ohio to win, it was very even and by no means the landslide you suggest.

Still whining about non existent vote theft. Get over it. I see your guy is working to steal as many as possible this time though through his front organization ACORN.

In an election year where everything should be in the Democrat's favor, the race shouldn't be as close as it is. The fact that it is as close as it is shows that Democrats have taken a big gamble electing Barack as their candidate. Too many people feel uneasy about Obama, who would be outwitted by the Iranians and others like them.

these are the states in which george bush won the popular vote in 2004, hardly a squeaker.

Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahama, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Only three states changed allegiance. New Mexico and Iowa voted Democratic in 2000, but voted Republican in 2004. New Hampshire voted Republican in 2000 but voted Democratic in 2004.
