He said it was a tie overall, but Obama did better on the economy and stayed close with McCain on foreign policy.

I agree.....McCain is sliding in the polls and needed a 'game changer' and just didn't get it. These GOP morons are just nuts, I have no idea what they are watching, well they are supporting their cause albeit a losing one....Obama performed exceptionally and wow did he look presidential.....

Charles is normally very critical of Obama, so his analysis is not good news for McCain.

...as was also said on other stations. McCain needed a TD and he did not get it. When you are down by 6 you do not kick the FG....you get the TD. McCain did not get the TD tonight...he kicked the FG.

I definitely don't think Obama lost, maybe he didn't win but didn't lose. Foreign policy was supposed to be McCain's advantage but Obama held his own.

I never understand what world Charles Krauthammer lives in - he sees things that just aren't there. I support Obama and I don't think he won - nobody did.

And Juan Williams, who's been a huge Obama advocate, said McCain did a fantastic job. There are so many from the other party who think it was a great debate, I agree with them. Both candidates did a good job making their points and speaking on their feet.

Yeah, McCain did a very good job. Unfortunately for him, so did Obama.

I call it a wash - which leaves Obama with a slight lead right now.

I don't think Krauthammer gave the win to Obama at all--I think he thought it was even. Did we watch different shows or something?
