They just showed a clip on CNN where Kissinger appears to contradict the statement he just put out. I suppose Kissinger likes his current retainer.
Like Barry, you don't understand. The clip you say, Kissinger was talking about high level leaders, not the president. We are talking about the president, and Kissinger just issued a statement saying that what McCain said during the debate was correct, he would NOT have the president sit down without preconditions.
As an unbiased observer ( I'm Canadian ) I can only say that I am surprised that neither candidate really addressed the financial situation. I expected at least one of them to have a plan to balance the budget. To sum it up if I lived in the US and had a vote I think McCain will guarantee you 4 more years of war and deficit budgets. I'm still not sure where Obama stands on the deficit, but it seems to me he would be the better choice unless you are filthy rich. Obama seems like the more honest man to me.

... but with preparation. Personally, regardless of what Barry thinks, I do not think it is a bad idea. We have too many people ready to shoot and ask questions later. Btw, how it that Iraq war coming - does the "shock and awe" of spending $600 billion - $1 trillion there help our economy??
