I do agree with him that president should not sit down with leaders without precondition...

Oh, please! Obama never said the President should sit down w/o preconditions. He made that VERY clear, yet McCain continued to repeat it. Ridiculous. Obama was talking about high-level meetings, not the President himself. Of course Kissinger agrees. They ALL AGREE.

Honestly...

What were you watching akm? Obama made it very clear that there would be no preconditions with a high-level meeting but that also it would not start with such a high-level meeting... it would start with low-level meetings to get everything ready for a higher-level meeting... He was saying that it would be progressive meeting but also that there would be no preconditions... just preparation.. which seems fine to me... I don't see the big deal...

There is no military option for Iran and I hope somebody sits down with their leadership.

Yes, Obama did say he would meet rogue leaders in his first year as President without preconditions. CNN showed the YouTube debate clip.

They just showed a clip on CNN where Kissinger appears to contradict the statement he just put out. I suppose Kissinger likes his current retainer.

In the clip you refer to Kissinger was talking about high-level staff meeting with rogue leaders, not the President.

Funny how one man says he will sit down and converse with an Iranian leader, and the other mocks him for this, yet jokes about bombing this same country, which has never done anything to us. Just like Iraq never did anything to us, and he was, and remains, in favor of all those who died needlessly there.

McCain makes me sick to my stomach
