I believe the capital gains tax rate should be inversely proportional to the time the capital was invested in a specific entity. For example the profit made on an investment of less than a week should be taxed at 90%, one held for a month at 75%, for a year 15%, for several years no tax.

This would dampen the fluctuation in the financial markets and reduce day trading and other speculative gambling.

AGAIN

You cannot give 95% of taxpayers tax cuts when only 48% of ALL Americans DO NOT PAY TAXES IN THE FIRST PLACE.

If you are stupid enough to fall for this please DO NOT VOTE.

The rich people the libs want to attack write your paycheck, pay for us to use the roads, school, hospitals etc.

48% of YOU are not paying taxes at all, time to stop that. Every single household should PAY some taxes.

So 48% of us are stealing from the other 52% of us.

Obama is LYING !

Warren Buffet has a standing offer of $1 million to anyone who can show that the CEO of a Fortune 500 company pays more taxes (percent of income) than his/her secretary. So far, no takers. My heart goes out for the truly rich - we should help them in these difficult times - like McCain asks.

Points for Obama- Let Iraq spend its millions not ours.
Points McCain- I understand the Military and will take care of our vets.
Vets understand vets best. Vets care about vets best. I trust McCain on that one more than Obama or his sock sniffing vp
McCain has done diddly for Vets. Now that he married the Heiress and is living the High Life he has forgotten his roots.

I can come up with as many immature insults as you want to hear but I have neither the inclination or the desire. I would ask that if you wish to reply to me with additional childish insults in the future, please use as much adult restraint as you can muster. The next time I may not be as nice.

He said 95% of working American's. Which seems accurate when the threshold is 250K.

Obama lowering taxes. That's one of the craziest things I ever heard. . He changes his mind daily. October surprise? Obama has a closet full. Dems looking for dirt on Palin might find she stole a piece of candy from her grandma when five. Obama learned well from other Shady Chicago Politicians. Rezko anyone?
