Oh, this is too funny.

Biden has consistently opposed Obama, and said so.

McCain made a big deal of Obama's Pakistani position, and now Palin misfires on that important issue discussed just a day before. Was she even watching the debate??
Major differences should not be there once you have accepted #2 spot.

McCain was just on This Week with George Stephanopolis, and George asked him directly about this (after showing him the tape with Palin saying we should go into Pakistan.) Of course he skirted around the issues and said stuff like of course she agrees with my positions and you can't take what people say in general conversation (as her statement on Pakistan was) as their formal view on a topic. If Obama had said something in conversation that was contrary to his official positions on a topic, believe me, he'd be lambasted all over the place. And certainly Biden (who I agree does talk too much) has been lambasted by the right for anything that hints of going against Obama.

So it's okay if Palin just makes off the cuff casual remarks about our position with other countries? She's just making conversation, no one should take her seriously....it's not like that would be a job requirement or anything .

It would appear from polls and discussions in Republican circles that few and fewer are taking her seriously so your premise should be reconsidered.
