There is an excellent site you should visit: www.snopes.com It is an unbiased fact-finder site that disproves the junk spewed forth like the Palin/dinosaur controversy. 90% of what I hear or read I do not believe; the original purveyor of the so-called Palin comments about dinosaurs came forth & admitted it was written in jest - clearly with tongue in cheek. I am not a Palin fan, or a Biden fan. I am not thrilled with our choices for president, either. Both parties will spout whatever they can to make the other side look bad and put the spin into high gear. Ultimately I go into the booth & vote for the lesser of 2 evils. That, and I hope that whoever takes the oath has one helluva good team surrounding them - that's who's calling the shots anyway.
You are correct. Also, an article from Los Angeles Times, perhaps the most liberal and leftist newspaper in the nation (second to NYT) is not going to publish anything that would favor McCain nor Palin.

Snopes has a bit about an email going round with some outrageous Palin quotes that were debunked as a spoof. The person referred to in the LA Times article was not debunked. He has not changed his assertion as far as I can tell.

Dinosaurs had to have happened on the fifth day, but McCain couldn't have happened until the sixth day. So you see, he actually looks really GOOD for his age.

This is a valid religous belief. What day did God make man and what day did he make the beasts? She does not need to thread lightly in her faith beliefs. If she believes then it is so for her.
