Steve Forbes or Ron Paul may run again. The Repubs will need to look for a true conservative, not these pretenders.

You may get some Independents over if you have the right people who do what they say. Pick a decent VP too.

Other "rising stars" in the GOP? Bobby Jindal? Condi Rice?

He's definitely as qualified as Obama but I don't think the GOP would support Bobby Jindal, he might have a little too much pigment in his skin.

While they differ on a lot of issues, I think a Paul/Bloomberg ticket would be unbeatable.

haha. So true. I cannot for the life of me see how he would ever make it past Iowa or South Carolina primaries, which are dominated by evangelicals and very, very old people. They would probably think he was a Muslim or something.

But if the economy is booming and America is faring well, they may want to have a Barack of their very own to go up against a very powerful Obama Administration.

The American economy will not be booming unless the books are completely cooked.

Of course they would support Bobby Jindal. He is a true conservative. As a matter of fact a Romney/Jindal ticket is very feasible.

Bobby Jindal is in no way comparable to Barack Obama politically or otherwise. It seems racist for you to even say such a thing just because of a darker skin tone.

Default In the event Obama wins, who will the GOP run in 2012?

Joe Lieberman.
