I think two white men have the best chance of winning the Electoral College...and that's all that really matters.
Right now, I expect there to be much weeping and gnashing of teeth. Vote for a ticket with a black on the ticket, or a woman? Hell? Or high water?

I vote Dora/Elmo, but only because Dora is obviously placed as the presidential candidate and Elmo as the V.P.
Elmo just isn't assertive enough to be president. However, as V.Ps. go, he's brighter than Palin, and would appear to have better problem-solving skills, so he's got that much going for him, and he's more personable/cuddly than Biden (I'm voting Obama/Biden but just can't imagine cuddling Biden). Dora is a take-charge kind of girl who doesn't try to be too cutesy, which gives her a leg up on Palin, and she's young and healthy, which gives her two legs up on McCain.

I would like to see a ticket of Biden/Obama. I think Biden has good middle-class values and he doesn't appear to be into accumulating wealth like most politicians. I've been a life-long Republican, but my party has changed for the worse since the early nineties. Another 4 years of Bush-type leadership and this country won't exist. Republicans have moved away so far from the Reagan style philosophy that I don't recognize them anymore. The type of conservatism we have today is really corporate welfare and laws to benefit the rich to the detriment of the middle class.

If Obama had the poor judgement to pick Palin, I would have to rethink my vote for him. But Biden, although my first choice for president, would not be enough of a carrot to ever get me to vote for McCain.

I can't vote for a ticket with Palin on it. I can't vote for a ticket with McCain on it. All that is left is Dora the Explorer.

Ummmm? Can Dora run? I believe she is from a Latin American country. Can we see her birth certificate? Has she been properly vetted?

Look I should be on the ticket. I have foreign experience. Andrews Air force base is 8 minutes from my house and when ever a foreign president comes to AMerica they past right over my house.

Well your post doesnt include others. But I would feel better about Matt Gonzales - His stand on integrity andhonesty in the h white house is an appealing change.
Palin is just scary
Biden I think may have some old boy issues that would be polarizing

As much as I like Obama, I'm not voting for anyone who put that woman on the ticket. After that, Biden wouldn't make me like McCain any more than I already do, so I would cast my vote for Dora/Elmo '08.
