Canaduh is having an election too. Our Prime Minister is debating other candidates on Thursday as well. The viewing ratings will be nil as everyone will be watching Sarah McPalin destroy John McPains wet dream.

MY thoughts are that it doesn't really matter if she does well. Just because you memorize all the right things to say and keep saying them over and over (kinda like the Russia/Alaska thing) it doesn't mean she actually knows anything or can handle foreign affairs in the real world.
Kinda like a newly pregnant woman trying to tell me, a mother of four, she knows all about raising children because there's a few puppies in the neighborhood.

If it walks like a duck ....
Sarah Palin's responses about issues facing our country is natures way of simply saying to the American people, "If she talks as though she is
clueless, it's probably because she is."

Her interview with Gibson was horrid. Her meeting with Couric was even worse.
What will the outcome be?

As Amy Pohler said as Katie Couric on SNL .... why is it that the less you know, the cuter you become? That's my new "I can see Russia from my house" line of the week.

To all the Palin haters out there:
She will do very well in this debate, do you all not remember her speech @ the RNC convention, recall how she spoke of community organizers having no responsibility and how her qualifications as Mayor and Gov. have her well-prepared and experienced to be on the GOP ticket.....The bar should be quite high just based in part on her speech @ the GOP....No need to lower our expectations just based on a couple of interviews....C'mon now, all you dems are being quite unfair.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but I certainly don't think she's going to be fully ready for it. I guess we'll find out on Thursday.

Based on what we've seen thus far, chances are she'll give garbled, practiced answers that are evasive or don't really answer the question. But then again, she might also surprise everyone and give snappy, funny answers along with throwing a few challenging barbs at Biden. He should probably be ready for anything - the Rove-ite trainers probably have a few tricks up their sleeves and know there are low expectations. So anything she does that's *any* improvement over her previous scanty interviews to date may earn her bonus points!
{In a link I just posted, a Miami Herald article asks if and why Palin should be treated any differently than a man???} My take is Biden should not treat her with kid gloves -- while remaining guardedly polite.
