Is it just a coincidence or a defensive campaign strategy that all of Republican vice-presidental candidate Sarah Palin’s speeches have gone missing from the Governor’s official Web site?
Last Reporter has been trying for weeks to search for Palin’s speeches and has found that the link to “All Speeches” (scroll to bottom) is dead. In addition, all searches for Palin’s speeches on the site’s search engine also come up blank.
The link to “All Reports” (scroll to bottom) has also been dead for several weeks. Is this an attempt to keep the prying eyes of the press and bloggers away from potentially embarrassing or controversial information, or simply an innocent mistake?
It’s hard to say, but what we do know is that many videos posted on YouTube considered embarassing to Palin have also vanished into thin air! So much for transparency in government.
Today, we learned that the web page has been pulled (broken link). National Democrats apparently want to rewrite history and say that Palin did not kill the Bridge to Nowhere. Fortunately, we saved a screen shot (below) of the page so the facts could not be buried.

It's a real good idea to actually google the issue before posting it as fact.
"UPDATE #2: The Alaska Democrats have now re-posted the original web page but under a different link. We will stay on top of this so they can’t change the record."
I didnt look at either page, but maybe they just changed the page title or rearranged their folders instead of "pulling" the page.
And why would they remove such a page entirely, anyway?
Although - if you're making a "Bridge to Nowhere" metaphor, thanks, that's funny
Notice the difference? This is nothing but a webmaster's mistake and poor quality control in the development process.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled Palin-bashing....
I just tried.
Evidently the 'webmaster error' is an excuse.
If it were a mere error, it would have been corrected by now.
I can understand their shame.

How many times do you people have to be told that Palin was all FOR the Bridge to Nowhere. She fought it only AFTER it was already killed.
Get real.
