Default When obama is elected president..........

and he allows our military to be defeated in Iraq, what will he do when there is another 911 type attack on the US? Will he sit down and talk to the terrorists and maybe work out a deal with them?

I don't know if you time-traveled here from the year 2003, but this is 2008 and we found out long ago that Iraq had nothing to do with eradicating Al-Qaeda...until we invaded it.

Pick up a newspaper sometime.

Didn't we win?

July of this year on Larry King:
Quote:
MCCAIN: I think we did the right thing. I think that it was a colossal intelligence failure on the part of the United States and every other county as to whether he had them or not. But again, I would remind you, I said we would have an easy victory. We did.
So its settled.
We won and "mission accomplished".

If we don't have a strong economy, our military will suffer.
That's what I'm worried about - not having the ability to act when force is needed.
And I hate the idea of spending money and lives chasing the boogey man.

Can't google map out that area?

Don't we have bunker busters? (is that the one?)
Laser guided?

Can't we sponsor an Afghanistan government reward of $40 Billion for info that leads to Bin Laden's death? I'd be ok with that. Lot of money - I know.

Are you saying that Al-Qaeda is not in Iraq? If so maybe you need to read a newspaper. Was Al-Qaeda in Iraq when the war started? Probably not, but they are there now!

If obama is elected we will lose the war in Iraq. That is a fact!

IF Obama is elected president, he will sit down with the terrorist leaders and introduce them to the new America. He will agree with them that traditional Christians suck and only Liberation Theology gets results. He will empathize with their struggle and teach them how to picket churches and synagogues and threaten leaders to get results -- in other words, he'll send them for ACORN training! He will assure them of his commitment to understand their point of view and take a blood oath on the memory of his deceased, Muslim freedom-fighting family.

I find it hard to believe that that is accurate.

Our military can and does map the area.

Yes we have laser guided bunker busters. But what bunker or cave do we use them on?

I believe that we should raise the reward money for osama to $1 billion.

It wasn't until we invaded it and created a power vacuum. al-Qaeda posed as much a threat to Saddam as it did to us, because bin Laden hated Saddam.

Please explain to me the parameters of "winning" an occupation.
