Hey, great news but don't forget a lot can happen in a month. Don't count your chickens before they're hatched, as they say.
We'll see how many of these supporters are willing to back Obama when he votes for the bailout. McCain's voting for it too. A lot of people are talking third parties just because that's unacceptable.
FISA wasn't enough for many, but this could be a tipping point.
I will be glad when it is over one way or another--it's been tiring listening to all the pandering from both sides and it's difficult to have normal discussions with people about the candidates' pros or cons due to extreme left or right thinking.
And, at the end of the day, with this country needing at least 4 years to recover, I doubt either candidate will have muct moola to implement any of their plans/changes/whatevers...
And I doubt either one, regardless of who is inaugurated in January, will be reelected in four years.
Don't forget that and congressional elections are just as important or even more important for congress control, than the presidency. Have you all looked into who are your representatives and decided who you are going to vote for there?
And as for who as won at this point? I never believe the pre polls, they are never accurate. All depends on who conducted them as to the outcome.
Sarah Palin was put on the ticket presumably to help McCain stage a 4th quarter comeback. It's not over until it's over.
Hopefully the game will not end as a tie and go into overtime as it did back in 2000.
