Default Solution: Hold a 2nd VP debate with a different moderator

Obviously it's too late to replace a moderator with just a few hours to go. But why gripe about it? Why not just take the obvious solution. Hold a second VP debate with a different moderator.

Hey, why not--the media would love it, in fact I think we all would. Biden and Palin are two hilarious characters, we could do a whole series and make it the hot new show of the fall tv lineup.

Don't you think all moderators are going to be leaning one way or another? A good moderator won't let their personal views influence how they run the debate.

I've asked several times for repubs to suggest who they would like....they have NO suggestions...why give the bimbo another chance...stupid is stupid no matter who asks the questions.

Of course, but with all the unfounded accusations, I like the idea of having another right-leaning journalist host the second debate. It would shut up the chicken littles.

Great solution! Also change the format to allow Palin to speak more as she now claims that the press has been censoring her as she claimed in the Hannity interview.

Didn't McCain and Palin say they were OK with her moding the debate? I just don't get what the beef is...if they agree to it,,,then so be it...

I just think repugs are looking,,,desperately for a person or place to point the finger when she (Palin) makes an idiot of herself...

Ifill is an great journalist who has a very long record of covering politics...I think she can be objective in the debate...as she has been in the past.

I nominate Steven Colbert as the moderator. I think he would do a fine job. I was going to nominate David Letterman, but he hates McCain now.
