Default The I have turned off the debate thread

These debates really are stupid. Any average person has NO clue what is true in what they are saying.

So my question is:

Why do we not have a moderator who is knowledgeable and allowed to call out on the false statements said by each candidate?

I think I know quite a bit about what's going on, but everything happens so quickly in soundbites that it's still difficult to tell who said what and what is the truth.

Pointless.

No. Biden specifically said he wouldn't oppose them being civil unions nor their recognition and their religious institutions' recognition of them as a marriage (if I'm paraphrasing that correctly). He said he doesn't support them.

Palin just gave it a "no" so I don't know whether she means entirely...including civil unions. No idea.
