I think the reason Sarah's accent irritates people so much is that it sounds really really put on. I'm sure it's not the accent herself. She tries so hard to sound "hick" that it actually hurts. She's almost insulting.

the name of the commanding general in Afghanistan. Biden referenced the general saying the surge principal would not work in Afghanistan...a conclusion I don't agree with because this general wants 3 more brigades but he's only getting 1 by the end of the year.

i had a girlfriend in h.s. That looked like palin lol i don't remember much, just that it was like putting a silver dollar in a nickel-woops. My wife kept asking me why do you have that s**t eatin grin on your face? Somethings are better kept silenced about.
It's pretty easy to look good and sound good when you are reading from a script and NOTanswering questions and getting little 'digs' in on the other party. It's pretty easy to look good and sound good when you have had a good while to study the questions and memorize the McCain policy so you can read it from a script instead of answering the question.
She's doing better than I thought she would. The flip side she comes off as extremely arrogant. We'll see if she's judged as harsly for all the smirking/smiling while Biden is speaking, as McCain was. And she better be because otherwise I'm going to be offended for the double standard and I am a woman.
She has lost the edge she had with male voters watching on CNN.
I have to admit, I'm damned impressed by Palin. She either memorized every answer or she has her responses written in small print on her pencil because it is quite apparent she regurgitating.
Nobody knew the questions that would be asked but the mod....
