Did I hear her correctly? I was driving in freeway construction zone and probably missed some of the nuance, but WTF? I'm sure I'll be able to see some clips and I know that smirk is going to stay on her face, but if she said this she is proving herself to be GW Bush II.

She said it alright. Actually she said this: "And I may not answer the questions that either the moderator or you want to hear, but I'm going to talk straight to the American people and let them know my track record also."
She repeatedly dodged question after question, and gave canned responses recited directly from her notecards. Most of her answers had little-to-nothing to do with the actual questions she had been asked.
What she really said is, if elected, I'm not going to answer Americans questions, because you're not going to be allowed to ask questions Joe Six Pack.
She went on and on about her record. McCain was a second thought, and when she thought about discussng Johns' record she ran out of time and was cut off.

Classic!
I thought the opposite. She said John McCain WAY too much for my liking. I thought she should have done more talking about herself. She only had this one opportunity left to talk about herself, whereas McCain has a lot of time to do that. She really needed to prove herself a little more tonight. Defending John McCain was not the way to go for her situation.
I was referring to one section of the debate. She mentioned McCain 17 times. If she wants to alk about her recrd why not tell the truth, since she's such a maverick. She left Wasilla 20 million dollars in debt. They had no debt when se was eleced. That's her record.

Whoever said "she's Bush in lipstick" was dead on!
She got her cram course from BUSH aides.
Hard to believe that there are some who LIKE where America is right now and want it to continue on it's downward spiral..
PALIN? What was there for him to say??? She hasn't done ANYTHING on a national level and this IS a national election!
