Let's see...I have a doctorate, my wife does, one bro is a Dr. of Pharmacy, another is a CPA-lawyer, another a Master's in Physics and a sis-in-law is an M.D....we are all strong conservatives (smaller fed govt. lower taxes. family values)...did I mention Bush can fly a jet and Obama can go fly a kite?

MANY, not just some, but MANY radical left wing groups are against farm subsidies in the United States because they want "fair competition" for those poor farmers in the Third World. Do a simple web search on this please. The liberals are the ones, in the name of social justice and internationalism, supporting policies that help farmers in FOREIGN COUNTRIES over AMERICANS. Never do they care about keeping American family farms in business.

Maybe you should do some research on Taliban-era Afghanistan, or modern day Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan as well as other Muslim countries. Read up on "honor killings" throughout the Islamic world. Women in Saudi Arabia do not even have the right to drive a car and are not even allowed to be together in public with a non-relative male. Saudi Arabia is also segregated by gender the way blacks and whites were segregated in the old South Africa. McDonalds in Saudi Arabia has a separate section for men and women and women sit in the back of the bus.

Incest in West Virginia is probablyh like 0.5%, 2 or 3% at the MAXIMUM. According to the NEW YORK TIMES itself, the liberals' favorite newspaper, about a quarter of Iraqi marriages are between first cousins to maintain loyalty to the tribe or the clan. But when another country does things like incest, violate women's rights, violate animal rights, fail to protect the enviornment, etc...its just their culture and we have to embrace it.

The U.S. has lost 500,000 farmers--real farmers--to agribusiness, who virtually stole these farmers' livelihoods. Liberal Americans have no problem with subsidies to real farmers. They have a very big problem with what are known as "perverse subsidies" (an economic term, not my term) for HUGE agricultural conglomerates who have run America's real farmers out of business and off their land. Get real.
When I hear about a hurricane destroying a farmer's crop, or about an automobile manufacturing plant shutting down, or about small businesses closing, I feel a lot of sympathy and concern for the people who suffer.
Surprisingly, with all the out of work stockbrokers and investment bankers now, all I can say is y'all had it coming. These greedy rich people spent their entire lives ruining the lives of other people, cheating and swindling them, and now when their lives are screwed up, tough luck getting sympathy. At least now some of those people feel what the rest of us ordinary folks are going through.
I dont' think I'm the only one sick and tired of the elitism and snobbery from the liberal elite. I think we've all heard of those latte sipping yuppies cracking jokes about incest in West Virginia or snubbing their noses at "hicks" in Texas and the Midwest. Stuff like this is a major reason why I am against Obama and his party. The great thing about democracy is that while those elitist snobs may think people like me are beneath them, come November we still have an equal power in controlling who wins and who leads this country.
Oh yeah and with tonights debate, Biden spent his entire live in Congress. He talks about his "communityh". Which community is that? Probably the penthouse apartments on Fifth Avenue, going to Bloomingdales and thinking someone's trash because they're not as sophisticated as the liberal elite. Personally I like Sarah Palin because even though I'm educated and all I don't forget my working class roots. She's the everyday woman. She might not be as polished or impeccably trained like Biden or SNOBama, but I know she can identify with and understand real ordinary people more than her opponents can.
She's the X-factor. She attracts huge crowds that adore her just the way she is. The left sees that too and are doing everything they can think of to ruin her, but to no avail. In fact I think, after the debate, she is even more of an asset to the ticket. They gave it all they had and she didn't crumble. Now we know she's got guts!
It's not as though Obama grew up on the southside of Chicago. His mother remarried and he was raised in a family along with his sister. As for serving the community, it was all a part of his carefully crafted plan to get him to where he is now, he selected Chicago for the connections his mother had earlier in her life with the Weathermen Underground. Obama's no fool, he was an atheist until Father Plager told him to join a church because it would be helpful to his career. Then he pondered over whether or not Trinity United was too uppidity because he didn't want to give the wrong impression. He is an elitist and an opportunist.
