Let's put down the red-shaded glasses for a sec ya'll. Let's turn off the Sean Hannity spin for a sec ...
Did you watch the debate last night? Do you feel comfortable with Sarah Palin as a WORLD leader? Can you give a reason why she would be a good, wise, respected world leader - other than "she can sound like the average American?" (By the way, what is an "average American"? I am an average, lower-middle-class American and I don't sound like that.)
Can you say with a straight face that she did not avoid most issues and repeat the same lines over and over? Can you honestly say that she sounded like she knew what she was talking about? Do you really believe she was giving us "straight talk"?
By all means vote for McCain if you are a conservative and have conservative beliefs (that is totally understandable), but please don't disgrace your fellow, hard-working Americans by putting on your fan goggles and saying that Palin somehow "won the debate", much less that she displayed any kindof knowledge on foreign issues or the economy last night. If so, you obviously did not watch the debate impartially, or I would argue, even watched the debate at all.

I think that if she ended up as President (upon McCain's death) that she would be such an embarassment to this country that she'd make Bush look presidential! No, I can't even imagine her being governor of Alaska, let alone VP or President.
She should not be Vice President. Period. Case closed.
Intellecutally, she is on par with Homer Simpson. You can have beer with him but do not let him run anything important. Values-wise, she in on par with Homer's wingnut neighbor.
The thought of her representing our country with complete lack of dignified speech makes us look so retarded. Being honest and down to earth doesn't mean talking down to our citizens like we are all on the same level as Homer Simpson. I can't even believe that she is even in politics at all. Who needs Tina Fey making fun of her when she's so excellent at being laughable all on her own. She makes me cringe every time I listen to her - surprisingly even more than GWB does.

Not only that..she'd set woman back quite a ways with her terrible performance!!
I'm sorry, my note cards don't address this so I'm not going to answer your question. However, John McCain is a maverick. I'm a maverick. And we're going to fight against corruption and excess and the American family. I'm one of those American families. I'm the middle class. And I believe we need to return to those values that don't talk about your real needs but blame all this on redistribution of wealth. I'm also for the doggone bailout bill because John McCain and I believe that we need to redistribute your wealth to those on Wall Street that affect you on Main Street. Oh, me? Heavens no, I'm not reading from my prepared note cards that have nothing to do with the question. Why would you ask such a thing? That's gotcha journalism. I've got a degree. I should know. You betcha!
As a woman she makes me sick there is no other way to say it. I have never felt this against a politician in my life.
