Default "McCain Loses His Head" article by George Will

Interesting article by George Will, a conservative, about John McCain. A highlight from the article:

"It is arguable that, because of his inexperience, Obama is not ready for the presidency. It is arguable that McCain, because of his boiling moralism and bottomless reservoir of certitudes, is not suited to the presidency. Unreadiness can be corrected, although perhaps at great cost, by experience. Can a dismaying temperament be fixed?"

It's nice to see that you can still be honest and a conservative.

I guess the only way to register your indignation is to keep voting for republicans. You betcha that'll tell 'em.

I like this line:

"For McCain, politics is always operatic, pitting people who agree with him against those who are "corrupt" or "betray the public's trust," two categories that seem to be exhaustive -- there are no other people."

There are a lot of people who think this way--especially this election. And it's ok, if you're doing something harmless like writing posts on a forum. But I expect a POTUS to be more sophisticated, more aware of the complexities of the world.

Yes, McCain can fix his temperament.

As president, McCain will hire a lot of massage therapists to massage him to keep him relaxed and cool.

When his bill isn't being passed by Congress, he will excuse himself, then go to a room to get his massage and come back again to meet Congress refreshed.

I assume he will insist on a "happy ending?"

Libs, please explain something to me, if you will. When you cherry-pick conservative criticism of McCain, do you actually think that people believe these conservatives are going to endorse Obama? And do you think that it's going to sway conservatives to vote for Obama? And if you can't stand/don't agree with conservatives, then why would you CARE what they say, anyway?

Finally, is this phenomenon somehow related to the reason Dems. marched lockstep with Bush over the bailout and lambasted conservatives who were reticent? You people don't make sense.
