One simple fact:
It was not McCain who picked her. It was Carl Rove's suggestion. Why? They thought they would take Hillary's vote. If you remember the first two weeks after Palin's coming out, it worked. She was new, she is exhilarating. People just loved her. The fizzle has died down. Her mistake? She ought not to have those two interviews with Charlie and Kate. She showed her ignorance.
