I was actually hoping Colin Powell and Condoleeza would run--not necessarily win b'c I don't know what they'd really stand for--but run. Thought they might be a good team. I don't care about the color of someone's skin, just their attitude.
At what percentage do you see race (color) deciding the vote? For example I have a couple of black co-workers talking out loud how we should all vote for obama because its the Black mans turn to Rule America! These co-workers are laughing and saying ha ha the Whites wont win this time! So I ask do you think race will mess with this race? If so, by how much?

I agree that those two would have made a wonderful ticket - one that I would have voted for.
Obama is of the "ME" generation of liberal whiners, protesters, anti-American, anti-war gang who Hollywood and hippies love. It's a shame that one of these idiots is probably going to attempt to lead our country next.

Mr. Powell is a genuine success story. Came from a poor family in hells kitchen and made something of himself. He is a man I can easily respect and I would feel honored to vote for him. Race? Who cares. Its the honor, character and beliefs that matter. Mr. Powell is an under utilized resourse.
You know at first you hear he's not black enough and then you hear well he's not white, I really dont know for sure how much race will play but there is one thing I know for sure America will one day be a place without racism and resentment. Now that's a dream we can all vote for!

I certainly hope so....and that racism goes in all directions from all sides.
If Nobama is has one white parent and one black parent, why is he called black? Why not call him white?
Seriously.
